Silver Award Requirements
As a Cadette Girl Scouts who may be interested in earning the Silver Award, we wish to explain the revised requirements and guidelines from GSUSA.
This chart will explain an overview of these guidelines and changes.

- Attend a Silver Award Workshop – check Happenings or call Council for dates.
- With a troop/group advisor work out a timeline for completing Steps 1 – 4.
- Develop a Silver Award Project idea.
- Consider candidates for Silver Advisors.

2. SILVER LEADERSHIP AWARD |
- See New Girl Scout material.
- Earn It: Three Interest Projects related to parts of the Law.
- Earn Studio 2B:Uniquely Me! The Real Deal:
- Lead It: 15 hours of leadership.
- Put It Together: Go For It! Girl Scout Silver Award STUDIO 2B insert.

- Be Your Own Boss—Earn Your Own Business Interest Project Award from Interest Projects for Girl Scouts 11 – 17.

4. GIRL SCOUT SILVER 4 B's CHALLENGE |
- Complete GS 4B's Challenge.
- Become - Set Goals.
- Belong – Earn the charm from STUDIO 2B Focus:
- Looking in, Reaching Out.
- Believe – Identify an issue. Use your voice to address it.
- Reflect.
- Build – Focus on coming up with a solution. Use Go For It!
- GS Silver Award STUDIO 2B insert to journal your discussion and evaluation with advisor.

5. THE GIRL SCOUT SILVER AWARD PROJECT |
- Obtain a Silver Award Advisor.
- Plan your GS Silver Award Project.
- Plan It: Work with advisor, use Go For It!
- Know More About It: Research issue.
- Choose It: Brainstorm solutions.
- Map It: Create a timeline of project steps and list of resources. (Timeline can be found online at www.gscgehc.org.)
- Do It! Put plans into action. THE GIRL SCOUT

6. THINK ABOUT IT |
- Evaluate with Girl Scout Silver Award advisor using Go For It! GS Silver award insert.
- Review final report with advisor/leader. (Applications are found online at www.gscgehc.org.)
- Complete Silver Award Final Report form and submit to council by April deadline.SILVER AWARD PROJECT

7. CELEBRATE |
- Attend Council Recognition Ceremony to receive Silver Award.

REMEMBER we all want to see as many Girl Scouts earn their Silver Award as possible by working together, girls and adults, to make these worthwhile projects and learning experiences.
