
The Girl Scout Council of Greater Essex and Hudson Counties maintains a campership fund to assist girls who might otherwise be unable to attend camp, and encourages all eligible girls to apply. In order to be eligible for a campership, girls must be currently registered GSCGEHC Girl Scouts, and must actively participate in the Girl Scout product sales. Camperships are awarded on the basis of need, and are non-transferable.
To apply for financial assistance, complete and sign the Confidential Campership Application Form, and return it, along with a completed camp registration form, to the Girl Scout Service Center by April 20, 2008. Form requires Adobe Reader- free download.
- Include all requested information. Feel free to attach additional pages if necessary.
- Campership forms must be signed by the camper's parent/guardian.
- A $80.00 deposit per session must accompany all camp registrations and campership applications. Deposits will be refunded if campership is denied.
- Applications received after April 20th will be considered only if funding is available.
- You will be notified by mail if your camper receives a campership.
