Alumni

The Order of the Evergreen is the alumni association of the Girl Scout Council of Greater Essex and Hudson Counties. It was re-established in 2002 and enjoys an annual membership of more than 50 women and men.

Evergreeners enjoy a wide variety of activities ranging from trips to New York City to fun-filled get togethers in a troop-like setting. The association gives financial support to the council and many members offer volunteer support as well. Evergreen meetings are held at the Montclair service center in October, January and April and finishes the year each June with a picnic at The OVAL Girl Scout day camp in Maplewood.

If you have ever been a Girl Scout or Girl Guide you are invited to become a member of the Order of the Evergreen. The annual membership fee is $10 and both adult women and men are welcome to join.
